I’ve known Dave for some time, and really liked his songs, even though I’m not fan of country music. And just last month Dave asked me to do a shoot with him and I quickly said of course. It was a small shoot which we decided to do early morning at the Folsom Lake, which is about 10 miles from my house. I kept it very simple, and I think we got some nice shots for Dave’s label and upcoming single.

For this shoot I used 2400 Acute Profoto setup. I had 5′ Octa as a main light, and Profoto D4 head as a rim light.
I used cyber-syncs, and this time I shot with canon 5D mark II and 50 1.4 and 35 1.4.

Special thanks for my buddy Phil who was assisting me at the shoot and Danny who put together amazing BTS video.
